At least five people were killed when munitions exploded during transfer to a warehouse in Binnish, Idlib governorate, north-west Syria.
The explosions, which lasted more than an hour and a half, destroyed nearby shops and left civil defence teams searching for missing people.
The arms dealer who owned the warehouse was among those killed, highlighting the dangers of widespread weapons proliferation after nearly 14 years of civil war.
