Xiaomi sub-brand Poco is officially expanding its flagship smartphone line with the launch of the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra.
Under the hood, the top-tier Poco F9 Ultra packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The standard Poco F9 Pro relies on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series (SM8850-1-AB) with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Both handsets incorporate a dedicated 12nm VisionBoost D8 graphics chip to handle AI frame insertion and super-resolution processing.
On the front, both devices feature HyperRGB AMOLED panels with a 185Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 4,500 nits. The Poco F9 Pro features a 6.59-inch display with a 2510 x 1156 resolution, while the Poco F9 Ultra expands to a 6.9-inch display with a 2608 x 1200 resolution. Both screens feature 480Hz 10-point touch sampling, 4800Hz instant touch sampling, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensors.
Camera hardware sees a major overhaul on both models, starting with a shared 200MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 4K video recording. The secondary camera configurations branch off from there.
