U.S. stocks fell Tuesday as rising oil prices stoked inflation fears and drove bond yields to multiyear highs around the world, adding uncertainty about whether the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates at its meeting later this month.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 363 points, or 0.7%. The S&P 500 declined by the same margin, and the Nasdaq $NDAQ Composite slid 1.3%.
