Having a car with push-button start is supposed to make life easier. There’s no fumbling with a physical key; you just get in and go as long as the fob is somewhere nearby, often in a pocket or purse.
But one driver found out that the convenience can go sideways when your key fob goes missing. Here’s how she handled it.
In a trending video with more than 18,000 views, Francesca Battistelli (@francescabmusic), a singer-songwriter and mother of seven, explained the debacle with her push-to-start.
Battistelli explains that her car can start up with the push of a button, and since she doesn't need to put the key in the ignition, she usually has the fob in the cupholder or her purse.
But about six months ago, something odd happened.
