When it comes to worst-case scenarios behind the wheel, the possibility of having left a key fob 20 or more miles behind is about as bad as it gets. The unanswerable “What now?” question is sure to start rattling in your head as the miles continue to fly by under a car you absolutely have to keep running—or else.
TikTok viewers got an up-close look at that reality in a recent clip from creator Pheeeeee (@pheeeeee___), filmed from behind the wheel of her Dodge vehicle. As the road keeps moving, her instrument panel has suddenly and clearly told her that her key fob is no longer in the vehicle.
“Why my car talking about the key ain't in the vehicle? OK, so where the key at?” she asks in the clip that’s been viewed more than 290,000 times. “In order for me to start the car, the key was in there.”
Where's The Fob?
It’s not like there’s ever a good time to have a fob go missing, but the warning arrives at about the worst possible moment. Pheeeeee explains that she's already well into the trip and doesn't have many good options left.
