GO trains will be coming less frequently starting September, cutting trains on some lines from 15 per day to four, Metrolinx has announced.
In a post to X on Saturday, the provincial transit agency announced cuts to several GO train lines, including the Lakeshore West, Barrie and Stouffville Lines partly due to the “availability of train crews.”
Six of GO Transit’s seven train lines were experiencing “significant delays” Tuesday evening.
A GO train alert advised commuters to allow extra time for their commutes.
The delays come less than a week after another signal issue disrupted service on the Lakeshore East line.
