Six of GO Transit’s seven train lines were experiencing “significant delays” Tuesday evening.
GO Transit commuters have been left waiting in the heat on train platforms this evening, as significant delays have disrupted scheduling.
According to the transit system’s website, there were significant delays on multiple lines including Lakeshore West, Lakeshore East, Milton, Kitchener, Barrie and Stouffville, with several train cancellations at different points throughout the evening.
The delays come less than a week after another signal issue disrupted service on the Lakeshore East line.
A GO train alert advised commuters to allow extra time for their commutes.
