Wolverhampton Wanderers’ relegation from the Premier League has turned into a slow-motion fire sale, and Hugo Bueno is the latest asset drawing serious attention. Benfica are in negotiations to sign the Spanish left-back before the summer transfer window closes, with Wolves holding firm on a price tag of around £15 million for a player who still has two years left on his contract.
The 23-year-old from Vigo joined Wolves from CD Areosa in 2019 and has spent seven years working his way through the club’s academy and senior setup.
