Tesla Set to Hold Exclusive Cybercab Launch Event
Tesla is preparing to host an invite-only event unveiling Cybercab in Austin this week, according to a graphic the company shared on X featuring the vehicle’s silhouette. Tesla signaled the countdown to launch has entered its final stretch over the weekend.
The two-seat Cybercab has no steering wheel or pedals and leverages Tesla’s AI4 computer for full autonomy. A concept version of the vehicle was first unveiled in October 2024, when 20 prototypes gave short rides to attendees at a Tesla event. The vehicle is set to join the driverless Robotaxi fleet Tesla has operated in Austin since June 2025.
