The NIS said eligible Nigerians in the four cities and their surrounding areas who wish to obtain new passports, renew existing ones, or resolve pending applications should take advantage of the scheduled dates.
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has released the provisional venues and dates for its Passport Intervention Team's exercise in the United Kingdom, weeks after SaharaReporters first reported the planned deployment.
In a public announcement signed by the Service's Public Relations Officer, DCI Akinsola Akinlabi, and dated August 31, 2026, the NIS said the schedule followed consultations with the High Commission of Nigeria in the UK and representatives of Nigerian communities across the country.
According to the announcement, the exercise will run in four cities. In London, enrolment will hold at Layali Lounge, Trent Park, Bramley Road, from September 7 to 19. The same dates apply to Manchester, where the venue is Nigerian House, 23 Platt Lane. The exercise then moves to Aberdeen, at the Hilton Convention Centre on Smithfield Road, and Cardiff, at Sophia Gardens, Sophia Walk, both holding from September 21 to 26.
