Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of “deceiving” the US administration into entering a war with Iran for Israel’s benefit.
Writing on the social media platform X on Monday, August 31, Araghchi stated: “In Hebrew, Netanyahu openly boasts that he manipulated the US administration into entering a proxy war with Iran on Israel’s behalf.”
The Islamic Republic’s Foreign Minister further claimed that Netanyahu “openly and mockingly” discussed how he influenced US policy through “a thousand hours of appearances on American television networks.”
Referring to Netanyahu’s statements regarding US President Donald Trump, Araghchi added: “Yet in English, he lavishly praises the leadership of the US President.”
The Foreign Minister concluded his message by addressing the Israeli Prime Minister with a single word: “Snake.”
