Residents of Egbema in Imo State have raised concerns over the deplorable condition of roads in the area, insecurity and the worsening economic situation, saying the challenges have continued to affect their livelihoods and social activities.
The concerns were contained in a four-page address presented by Comrade Lawrence Okwudili Alex to the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri, Most Rev. Lucius Iwejuru Ugorji, during his pastoral visit to Chukwunyere Catholic Parish, Mmahu, Egbema, at the weekend.
Alex said insecurity remained a major concern in the area, particularly around the Agwa and iZombie axes, which he alleged had become vulnerable to criminal and kidnapping activities.
