In a push towards sustainable energy logistics and reduced carbon emissions, the Executive Director, Southern Region and State Head, Indian Oil Corporation, V. C. Asokan, flagged off Electric Vehicles (EVs) for last-mile LPG cylinder distribution across the Tiruchi Division.According to an official release, the eco-friendly deployment is part of IOC’s broader “Greener India” initiative to modernise doorstep fuel distribution. The newly inducted electric three-wheeler cargo fleet has been procured through TVS Motor Company under IOC’s Non-Fuel Revenue (NFR) strategic tie-ups.The launch in Thanjavur by the Executive Director along with the Chief General Manager (LPG), Tamil Nadu State office, marks the expansion of IndianOil’s eco-friendly fleet.
