Coinbase’s Crypto-as-a-Service platform is now powering crypto trading across Webull’s entire ecosystem, a partnership expansion that puts regulated digital asset access in front of 25 million users worldwide. The collaboration replaces Webull’s prior relationship with Bakkt, marking a significant infrastructure upgrade for the discount brokerage.
The integration, which began rolling out in June 2025, has already expanded Webull’s crypto offerings from a limited selection to approximately 101 supported tokens. The roadmap calls for 300 or more.
What the partnership actually includes
Coinbase’s CaaS platform provides spot trading infrastructure, institutional-grade custody, and staking services that Webull layers into its own app. Customers see Webull’s interface, but Coinbase is handling the backend infrastructure.
On October 30, 2025, Webull added futures contracts for Dogecoin, Solana, XRP, and Litecoin through Coinbase Derivatives. These are CFTC-cleared products, not the unregulated perpetual swaps available on offshore exchanges.
