Established companies in the industrial sector, registered in the Norwegian Business Register, can apply for financial backing to implement significant energy or climate measures in their production operations. Support is available for several types of studies and investments, with two new topics included in this round:- Renewable energy production for feed barges - supporting investments in solutions for local renewable energy production that will supply electricity to a feed fleet.- Replacement of older, inefficient engines - supporting investments in new frequency-controlled motors to replace ones that are at least 10 years old.Applicants can receive up to NOK 10 million (USD 1.06m/EUR 920,000) per initiative and Enova will cover between 30% and 50% of approved costs.The programme reflects the Norwegian government’s goal to have local industry become virtually emission-free by 2050.(NOK 10 = USD 1.06/ EUR 0.92)
