After the film’s poster dropped on Friday, we finally have our first look at the upcoming star-studded film Sheroes, with its three stars — Kinza Hashmi, Zara Noor Abbas and Ushna Shah — each leading one of three separate stories.

The trailer was released on Sunday by Sindh Films — a filmmaking initiative run by the Government of Sindh — which made the movie in collaboration with Geo Films. The film will have its nationwide theatrical release on September 18.

Hashmi’s character starts off the teaser with an Urdu translation of the old saying, “A lie will go round the world while truth is putting its boots on.” She’s seated in an art gallery as paintings — possibly fakes — are sold off.

The scene then shifts to a visibly stressed Abbas — who plays a cop — defusing a bomb. Then we get a montage of clips of Shah — a boxer — training and then taking on an opponent in the ring.

Abbas is shown driving fast cars, arriving at a police station on a motorbike — wearing a leather jacket, of course — and shooting at bad guys. Hashmi is being applauded by patrons at the gallery while Shah fights and trains.
