August 31, 2026 — 2:53pmPolice are working to find a woman whose newborn son was found dead in a rubbish bin in Sydney’s south-west.Officers responded to reports the boy’s body had been found on Harrow Road in Auburn, about 20 kilometres south-west of the city, about 11.20am on Monday. A crime scene has been established, with an investigation into the boy’s death under way.Police say there are serious concerns for the mother’s welfare and are urging her to attend her nearest hospital for treatment.
