The late Dr Frederick Fasehun-led faction of the O’odua People’s Congress has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office in the 2027 presidential election.

The group made the declaration in Lagos on Saturday during the celebration of its 32nd Founders’ Day and the inauguration of a new National Executive Council.

Hundreds of members gathered at the event to mark the group’s 32nd anniversary and formally declare their support for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Speaking at the event, the OPC’s re-elected President, Mr Wasiu Afolabi, pledged that the group would work for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, just as it did during his first bid for the presidency in 2023.

He said, “We contributed our quota to ensuring the victory of Tinubu in 2023. One lesson from Fasehun is that the organisation should regard any Yoruba man in office as OPC’s corporate project.
