ABUJA – The Movement for the Survival of Izon Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta, MOSIEND, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently intervene over the alleged exclusion of about 2,000 members of the Egberepapa Camp/Niger Delta Liberation Force from the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
For the affected ex-agitators and their families, MOSIEND said, it is a 17-year-old grievance that has refused to go away; involving people who reportedly laid down their arms and embraced the Federal Government’s amnesty initiative.
