At least two Palestinians were wounded when Israeli forces fired live ammunition during a settler attack near al-Mughayyir village in the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reported, citing Palestinian medical sources.
The incident occurred as Palestinians confronted settlers who were attacking homes west of the village, northeast of Ramallah.
Israeli forces were enabling the attacks by restricting access to the village and its surrounding area to Israeli settlers only, the head of the village council Amin Abu Aliya told Al Jazeera.
The Palestine Red Crescent also said on Sunday that its teams treated four Palestinians wounded by live fire in al-Mughayyir, and that the wounded were taken to hospital for treatment.
Haaretz, citing local reports, said the shooting was carried out by Israeli settlers.
