Three Palestinians were injured on Friday night when Israeli settlers attacked the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, according to local sources and the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
Israeli soldiers shot and wounded one Palestinian while providing cover for settlers who raided the western part of the village and attempted to steal livestock, the sources said. Residents intervened and thwarted the attempted theft, while settlers opened fire on the sheep, injuring two of them.
The settlers later renewed their attack on Palestinian homes under the protection of Israeli forces, amid heavy live gunfire.
The PRCS said its crews treated three Palestinians during the assault, including one wounded by live ammunition and two severely beaten by settlers.
