Ukraine's long-range strikes are aimed at depriving Russia of the resources it needs to wage the war. This night, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck sites used to store, prepare, and launch attack drones in the Oryol and Rostov regions.
According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a Facebook post.
"Overnight, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck sites used for the storage, preparation, and launch of attack drones in the Oryol and Rostov regions. There were strikes on a military airfield in Yeysk and in the Black Sea. Our warriors also imposed long-range sanctions on an oil refinery in the Leningrad region that generates millions of dollars every month for Russia's war budget. Effective long-range work over the course of this week has also been confirmed, including against facilities in Bashkortostan and the Arkhangelsk region. Every day, Russia must feel that the war is returning to where it came from," Zelensky said.

He added that it is important for Ukraine's long-range capabilities to be complemented by new sanctions measures from its partners targeting Russia's military infrastructure.
