A 34-year-old Australian woman has been injured by falling rocks during a visit to a popular beauty spot on the Aegean Sea island of Milos, state ERT television said Sunday.
The accident occurred at Kleftiko on the island’s southern coastline. The woman had been on a day-trip by boat round the island and was struck on the head and shoulder while swimming at Kleftiko, ERT said.
She was taken to the local health center and authorities were planning to transfer her from there to hospital in Athens for further treatment, ERT said.
