On Ukraine's Defenders Remembrance Day, three fallen Ukrainian defenders whose identities have not yet been established were buried at the National Military Memorial Cemetery.
The press service of the National Military Memorial Cemetery reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"They gave their lives fighting for the freedom of our land, and although their names have yet to be established, the state welcomed its heroes with the highest honors. Each soldier was buried with dignity and appropriate military honors," the statement said.
Among those who attended the burial ceremony were Head of the Office of the President Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Iryna Vereshchuk, Minister for Veterans Affairs Vitalii Kim, Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity Denys Uliutin, Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vyhivskyi, Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ivan Dobrovolskyi, and Deputy Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Yevhen Konchakovskyi.
Members of Ukraine's Defense Forces, veterans, families of fallen defenders, representatives of the public, clergy and other visitors to the memorial also took part in the ceremony.
