Forest sources, speaking anonymously to The Athletic, confirmed talks are progressing.The 22-year-old winger made eight assists and scored one goal in 42 appearances during 2025-26. However, he has been left out of the matchday squad for Forest’s first two Premier League games of the season under new manager Oliver Glasner.Hutchinson played the last 11 minutes of the Carabao Cup Second Round defeat to Leeds United in midweek as a late substitute, which could be his last appearance for the club.
A sign of how the deal is progressing is that sources close to the player have revealed that personal terms are more or less already agreed.Hutchinson could help fill the void left by Rafael Leao. The Athletic reported that the winger is a target for Galatasaray and Aston Villa, with the Portugal international now looking likely to join the Turkish club.
