Air defense forces shot down 199 attack drones used by Russian troops to attack Ukraine beginning on the morning of August 29.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to the report, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Russian invaders launched 224 attack drones at Ukraine, most of which were jet-powered. The vast majority were directed toward Kyiv.

According to preliminary data, air defense systems shot down or jammed 199 enemy UAVs throughout the day.

As of 6:20 p.m., about ten more Russian military attack drones were detected in Ukrainian airspace.
