Air Defense Forces shot down 83 of the 90 drones that Russian invaders used to attack Ukraine beginning on the evening of June 24.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on June 24, the enemy launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as 90 Shahed-type combat UAVs (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya-type decoy drones from the following directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), as well as the temporarily occupied cities of Donetsk and Hvardiiske (Crimea).
The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. on June 25, Air Defense Forces had shot down or neutralized 83 drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
