The source said the bullet caused Obodo to lose control of the vehicle, which subsequently crashed into three pedestrians. The pedestrians were critically injured in the incident.
A 22-year-old University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) graduate identified as Anthony Obodo, has been allegedly shot dead by police officers attached to the Agip Police Division in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, sparking protests and demands for an independent investigation and justice.
According to multiple eyewitnesses, Obodo was killed on Thursday, August 27, 2026, when he was allegedly pursued by a team of police officers for more than 30 minutes within the Federal Housing Estate, popularly known as Agip Estate.
