The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has called on defense industry leaders to conduct a full audit of locations where weapons and ammunition are stored.

According to Ukrinform, the ministry stated this on Facebook.

"We bow our heads in deep mourning together with every family that lost loved ones in the horrific tragedy in the village of Myla in Kyiv region. As of 14:50 on August 29, 37 people are known to have been killed and 15 injured. Two more people are still being searched for under the rubble," the statement said.

The Defense Ministry stressed that locating warehouses containing explosives near residential buildings is unacceptable.
