Suggesting the students to embrace scientific curiosity, former Union Secretary and Padma Bhushan T. Ramasami inspired them to dream beyond traditional boundaries and lead with purpose on global platforms here on Saturday.He was in the city to address the students at the Mahatma Schools, which had organised an education fair.Commending the school management and the faculty for their unwavering commitment to student empowerment, he said that for expanding horizons and to explore diverse opportunities, such Edu-Fair would play a key role.Giving the students on what they want for career planning, the Edu-Fair has set a new benchmark by transforming into a comprehensive, one-stop ecosystem for pursuing academic around the globe.Organised in a strategic partnership with BroadMind Study Abroad, the fair brought together delegates and representatives from top-ranked institutions spanning over 20 countries, including the UK, USA and the UAE among others.Students had the unique opportunity to engage in direct, one-on-one interactions with university delegates and allowed them to explore diverse undergraduate pathways in various disciplines.The fair also gave an outline on the financial support mechanisms, on-the-spot admission evaluations, free IELTS mock tests, on scholarships and exclusive voucher benefits.Union Bank of India and Canara Bank presented information on foreign exchange, travel logistics and global student accommodation.Senior Principal Premalatha Panneerselvam presided. Principal Latha emphasised the school’s vision, noting that hosting this fair for the second year in a row reflected Mahatma’s core belief that every student deserves clear, structured and limitless pathways to success.The former secretary held a special interactive session with Grade XII students from Madurai Corporation Schools who had successfully completed the A1 German Language training programme and were actively preparing to pursue higher education in Germany.By consistently creating platforms that connect young minds with international opportunities, Mahatma Schools continues to support the students to be future-ready, global citizens, Mrs. Premalatha added.
