A localized blackout occurred in the Mykolaiv region due to a massive attack by Russian strike drones, leaving 300,000 customers without power.

This was reported on Facebook by the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, according to Ukrinform.

"This morning, the enemy once again attacked the energy infrastructure of the Mykolaiv region with ‘Shahed’-type strike UAVs. Energy facilities in the region have been damaged. A number of sections have been shut down as a precaution. Power supply issues have arisen in the city of Mykolaiv and in communities in the Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts. According to preliminary information, more than 300,000 customers are without power," the statement reads.

Power company workers and all relevant services are on the ground, the Regional Military Administration added.
