MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has advised motorists to take alternate routes as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) begins its road reblocking and repairs in certain areas of Quezon City on Friday evening.

In an advisory, the MMDA said that DPWH’s rehabilitation works will begin at 11 p.m. on Friday until Monday morning, Aug. 31, at 5 a.m. in the following areas:
