MANILA, Philippines — Global ports giant International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) is seeking to strengthen its foothold in Africa with a deal to acquire a port and cargo operator serving three key markets in the region.

In a disclosure on Friday, the Enrique Razon Jr.-led company said it had signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of TLG Acquisition Holdings Proprietary Ltd., an integrated port and cargo handling services provider with operations across Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa.
