Megan has delivered an individual statement following KATSEYE‘s exit from the Daisy Chain Fields lineup.
After the 20-year-old star sprained her ankle during rehearsal, the girl group announced on Thursday (Aug. 27) that it would no longer be a part of Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural charity festival. Shortly afterward, Megan shared a message on her individual Instagram Story that followed similar wording to KATSEYE’s band statement, but in first person.
“Yesterday I sprained my ankle during tour rehearsal and my doctors have advised me to stay off it and let it heal so I can be ready for tour,” she wrote. “I’m heartbroken to miss Daisy Chain Fields, especially because of everything this festival stands for. I’m sending all my love to Olivia and to all of the incredible artists, non-profit organizations and volunteers who have given their time to make this day so special.”
