KATSEYE is dropping out of Olivia Rodrigo‘s Daisy Chain Fields festival this weekend after Megan sprained her ankle during a rehearsal, she confirmed on Thursday.

“We’re so sorry to share that we are unable to perform at Daisy Chain Fields,” Megan wrote in a post shared on her Instagram Story on Thursday. “Yesterday I sprained my ankle during tour rehearsal and my doctors have advised me to stay off it and let it heal so I can be ready for tour. I’m heartbroken to miss Daisy Chain Fields, especially because of everything this festival stands for.”

KATSEYE was one of over a dozen acts slated to play Daisy Chain Fields in Irvine on Saturday, alongside others including Doechii, Chappell Roan, Mitski and of course Rodrigo, who founded the festival this year as a charitable endeavor, with the net proceeds going to a swath of non-profits including Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights and Baby2Baby among others.

“I’m sending all my love to Olivia and to all of the incredible artists, non-profit organizations and volunteers who have given their time to make this day so special. It’s going to be such an amazing day; and I can’t wait to see everyone out on tour,” Megan wrote Thursday.
