QatarEnergy has extended its force majeure suspension on LNG deliveries to Edison until November, affecting five additional cargoes.
The suspensions stem from Iranian strikes on QatarEnergy's Ras Laffan complex, which shut down production in March.
Shell estimates Qatar's damaged LNG production could take until the first quarter of 2027 to fully repair.
Qatar supplies roughly 20 per cent of global LNG, with the Strait of Hormuz disruptions severely limiting tanker crossings since March.
