Sunderland will face seven-time European champions AC Milan in the Europa League this season, marking their return to European competition for the first time since 1973.
The Black Cats, who finished seventh in the Premier League last season, will travel to the San Siro to take on Milan in one of their eight league-phase fixtures.
Bournemouth have also been drawn against the Italian giants, but will host Milan at home. The Cherries are competing in Europe for the first time and will also face Spanish side Real Sociedad.
Crystal Palace, who won the Conference League last season, have been handed fixtures against Lyon, Real Sociedad and Besiktas.
