SpaceX's plan to build a $100 billion spaceport in Louisiana is drawing scrutiny from investors over how the company intends to finance the project, according to MarketWatch.
Morgan Stanley $MS analyst Adam Jonas estimates that the Louisiana facility accounts for roughly 2% of what SpaceX is likely to spend across all its initiatives through 2035, a figure that reflects expected capital expenditures for artificial-intelligence projects, according to MarketWatch. Financing those ambitions will require the company to take on significant debt, the analyst said.
