A forecast of 70% revenue growth next fiscal year broke Nvidia's four-quarter streak of post-earnings stock declines

Nvidia $NVDA added $442 billion to its market value on Thursday, the second-largest one-day gain by any stock in history, after the company's fiscal second-quarter results and revenue outlook eased investor concerns about the durability of artificial intelligence demand.

Nvidia stock climbed 8.7% on the day, a magnitude of gain the company had not seen since April 2025. Only Microsoft $MSFT's $450 billion advance last month stands above it, according to Bloomberg. Nvidia, the largest company in the world, carries a market valuation of around $5.5 trillion.
