Laam Fashion Week is returning to Lahore this October 23 to 26.
The event’s first edition showcased the work of 37 designers and, according to the organisers, generated interest from customers from over 100 countries.
The idea behind the event is to designer collections available to customers on LAAM’s digital platform immediately after pieces are displayed on a live-streamed runway. This give Pakistani brands the ability to take their work to a truly global audience.
In June, it issued a call and opened registrations for designers designers to join the event.
The first edition of LFW featured designers Ali Xeeshan, Amir Adnan, Ammar Belal, Deepak Perwani, Élan, Fahad Hussayn, Feeha Jamshed, Generation, HSY, Huma Adnan, Hussain Rehar, Karma, Khaadi, Mahgul, Meeras by Nilofer Shahid, Mohsin Naveed Ranjha, Nomi Ansari, Rizwan Beyg, Saira Shakira, Sania Maskatiya, Shamaeel Ansari, Teejays, The House of Kamiar Rokni, Wardha Saleem, Zaheer Abbas and Zainab Chottani.
