Nepal police said a dam had burst in Tibet, just two days after a glacial collapse caused catastrophic flooding in the region. Rescuers and civilians have been urged to head to safety. AFP News Agency reported on Friday that Nepal’s police had said a dam had burst in Tibet. “All security personnel, rescue workers, and the general public deployed in rescue and relief operations are requested to remain alert and immediately move to a safe location,” read a statement from Nepal’s police, according to the AFP.The news comes as the death toll from Wednesday’s flash flooding caused by a glacial collapse reaches at least 475, with another 1,400 more still unaccounted for.
