European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos assured Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi during a phone call that the European Union would continue supporting Ukraine, including efforts to advance the country's EU accession process.
The official reported this on social media platform X, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"This morning, as Russian strikes hit near his office, I spoke with Prime Minister Koretskyi," Kos wrote.
She added that the conversation focused on the reforms needed to advance Ukraine's path to EU membership, as well as the country's financial needs for the coming months.
"Even under intense attacks, Ukraine continues to work toward its European future," the European Commissioner said.
