European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen discussed energy issues, reforms, and the Drone Deal with Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi during a phone call.
According to Ukrinform, she posted about this on the social media platform X.
“Very good phone call with Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi. We will continue cooperating closely on reforms that move Ukraine’s EU accession process forward,” von der Leyen stated.
Von der Leyen also mentioned the prospects for the recently signed drone agreement.
“Our Drone Deal will harness the EU’s industrial strength to produce Ukraine’s most innovative defense equipment at speed and scale,” she emphasized.
