Wale Ogunbanjo, PDP House of Representatives candidate for Ijebu Central Federal Constituency
The House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Ijebu Central Federal Constituency, Wale Ogunbanjo, has promised to facilitate more development projects for the constituency if elected in the 2027 general election.
Ogunbanjo, who represented the constituency in the House between 2003 and 2007, made the promise during the flag-off of his campaign in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
The former lawmaker said his tenure was marked by projects and initiatives that continued to benefit residents of Ijebu-Ode, Odogbolu and Ijebu North-East Local Government Areas.
According to him, the projects included nine motorised boreholes across the three local government areas, the reconstruction of the Okun-Owa Town Hall in Odogbolu Local Government Area, a rural telephony project at Itamapako in Ijebu-Ode, bursaries and scholarships for students, as well as the renovation of the female ward of the General Hospital, Ijebu-Ode.
