Aug. 27 (UPI) -- The trial of Lindsay Clancy, charged with killing her three children, has ended, and the case was sent to the jury Thursday. With no verdict decided upon, the jurors will resume deliberations Friday.
The prosecution and defense made their closing arguments to the jury, and the judge gave the jury instructions before sending them off to deliberate in the Plymouth, Mass., courthouse.
Clancy, 36, is charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the killings of her three children: Cora, 5; Dawson 3, and Callan, 8 months. The children's bodies were found by their father, Patrick Clancy, in their Duxbury, Mass., home in January 2023.
Clancy pleaded not guilty and claimed she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and bipolar disorder.
