President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he is renaming Lake Ontario – a large body of water shared by the United States and Canada – “Lake America”.
Trump signed an order in the White House, telling reporters the change was “effective immediately”.
President Trump had said, Tuesday, he was considering renaming Lake Ontario as “Lake America” as his trade war with Canada escalated.
