Belarusian self-proclaimed president Alexander Lukashenko has departed for Russia on a working visit.
According to Ukrinform, Belarusian outlet Nasha Niva reported this.
During the visit, Lukashenko is expected to hold talks with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin. The two are set to discuss “key areas of bilateral cooperation, pressing regional and international issues, as well as security matters.”
Lukashenko is also scheduled to meet with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
During his meeting with the Russian Prime Minister, the Belarusian self-proclaimed leader is expected to discuss the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as the implementation of joint industrial projects.
