For Nigerians and other countries’ citizens who travel frequently for business, tourism, family visits or other commitments, a five-year multiple-entry visa can make international travel considerably easier.
Rather than applying for a new visa before every trip, holders of these long-term visas can make repeated visits during the visa’s validity period, subject to the conditions attached to each visa.
However, a five-year visa is not automatically guaranteed simply because an applicant is Nigerian. Approval depends on the destination country, the applicant’s travel history, finances, purpose of travel and other requirements.
