Atmoce has launched an 8 kWh LFP residential battery featuring 5 kW output, extra-low-voltage architecture and 90% AC round-trip efficiency. The IP66-rated system offers up to 15,000 cycles, wall or floor mounting, and a 25-year warranty..
Netherlands-headquartered inverter and battery manufacturer Atmoce has launched a new 8 kWh residential energy storage system for residential use.
The system uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry and delivers 5 kW of output.
“The MS-8K-U PRO uses Tier-1 battery cells designed for more than 15,000 cycles and up to 51 MWh of lifetime energy throughput,” the company said in a statement. “It has a semiconductor-based power conversion system (PCS) engineered for long-term reliability and operational stability.”
The storage system operates below 30 Vdc, avoiding the high-voltage DC architecture commonly used in residential battery systems.
