Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the main and reserve command posts of the Russian army near temporarily occupied Donetsk with missiles on August 26 and overnight on August 27, 2026.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

Near Donetsk, the main and reserve command posts of Russian forces were hit by air-launched missiles.

Near Chonhar, Ukrainian forces also struck a Russian repair and recovery unit, while a UAV control post in Olenivka, temporarily occupied Crimea, was hit as well.

In addition, clusters of Russian personnel near Novopetrivka in the Zaporizhzhia region and Voshod in Crimea were struck.
